Melania accompanies Trump to UNGA
In another sign that Melania Trump is gradually expanding her role as first lady, she accompanied her husband to the United Nations General Assembly Tuesday.
The first lady wore a
grey plaid suit by Calvin Klein as she arrived at the New York City
headquarters of the U.N. with her husband.
It was there that President Trump gave his first speech to the U.N., and did not mince words as he addressed North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, saying, “'Rocket Man' is on a suicide mission.”
Inside
Edition caught up with Laura Bush's former chief of staff, Anita McBride, who
spoke about Melania's role.

"Here is the one thing to remember about
first ladies — everyone gets to rewrite the playbook according to the rules
that they want to live by,” she said. “I think for Mrs. Trump’s part, she set
an early marker that she was going to do this on her timetable and her
way.”

Following his speech, Donald Trump echoed
what he said at the U.N. on Twitter saying the U.S. may have to “totally
destroy” North Korea.
